Public Library A. Castelao
Located in the Santo Domingo Cultural Building, it was founded in 1946 in the former College of Orphans and named “Castelao” according to the plenary agreement of 1980. The Castelao Municipal Public Library has a regional character with newspaper library services, local and children’s sections, loans, free access and internet.
Municipal Archive
The Municipal Archive of Betanzos is the work of all the citizens of Betanzos which, through their collaborations and donations, places Betanzos as the Council of Galicia that puts the largest volume of historical documentation at the service of the citizens.
Museo das Mariñas
The Museo das Mariñas concentrates a large part of the history of our city. Spread over two floors, we can find objects and curiosities from all the periods through which the town of Betanzos has passed, as well as a section dedicated to the ethnographic museum and several rooms with specific exhibitions.
